Slate Article on Teacher/Student Sex Double Standard

Here’s an article I pulled from the #1 most popular result on Slate’s website.

Not Every Schoolboy’s Fantasy

It addresses the clear double standard in sexual abuse cases: men get shafted, women get off- relatively scott free.

The article provides a relatively unbiased and factual look at the case. All the more surprising, considering the author is a woman who clearly has to combat her own instincts to protect the herd.

The comments are great cases of spinning hamsters. Here’s a few, selected for those who specifically support the double standard:

“Known female teachers who banged students. No harm done because it never came out. The harm is the revelation. Speaking of female on male students, naturally. The opposite? Those dudes need to die. LOL, the double-standard I am a big fan of.”

“I think the main reason why the women get off(no pun intended) is because the women don’t physically force the sex like in most of the cases of male teachers and students. I know there’s some cases where the student is just as willing as the male teacher but usually you hear the male teacher physically forced the student against their will.”

“If some of you people actually believe these two 13 and 14 year old boys didn’t wanna have sex with a 21 year old woman, plus buy into all this “abuse” stuff, (lol) then you’re either way too nieve to be an adult or you are smoking way too many illegal substances. That is all.”

“She should get less punishment because she merely enticed, but did not rape in a physical way, regardless of the words the law uses. At worst the boys suffered a broken heart.”

“There’s really no comparison here. Let’s be honest. If a young girl is phsically raped by an older man, she becomes tramatized with fear and sometimes suffers mentally for long periods of time, sometimes forever, but if a young boy is enticed by a young woman, he has a memory he can share with his buddys and get’s plenty of high fives in the process. This is just looking at the situation from a reality standpoint. If my daughter was raped and tramatized by an older man, he’s dead meat. If my young son was enticed by an older young woman, I would be pissed off at the young woman for being a pervert and taking advantage of my son, but I would hardly be worried about his state of mind. Know what I mean?”

“The male genital anatomy is such that it may cause physical trauma to the female genitalia during intercourse. The female genitalia is very unlikely to do the same to the male. Physical trauma exacerbates mental trauma, and therefore, a female being raped by a male (in the case of penile-vaginal intercourse) is likely to be a more traumatizing experience than vice versa. Thus, on these criteria, cases of male on female versus female on male rape should be treated differently.”

Its great that we can all share our shallow biased lowIQ blathering opinions. I want to call your attention to the LAW. This article points out the clear sexually discriminatory due process of convicting sexual behaviors. If women get off with much less sentence then men who commit similar crimes, there’s all the proof you need that our legal system is failing its own philosophy of non-discrimination.

The objection most people have to this is that the double standard is biologically innate. We naturally feel bad for women. We naturally think of men in the worst light possible. That’s all byproduct of provider instincts and competitive instincts, respectively.

Yet they cannot believe that our laws are written to surpass our instincts in the name of providing a fair legal system.

“The male genital anatomy is such that it may cause physical trauma to the female genitalia during intercourse.”

LOL what happened to the “vagina is tough, so why call weak men pussy?” line of reasoning?

“sometimes suffers mentally for long periods of time”

but we all like to laugh at emasculation of men.

“but if a young boy is enticed by a young woman,”

he was laughing, but in the full video(can’t find it now) had a look of fear and disgust at the end after she was asked to stop and left him alone. (asked and not punched in the face)

“Yet they cannot believe that our laws are written to surpass our instincts in the name of providing a fair legal system.”

From old texts like Belfort Bax’s books, the laws were different for sexes in such cases and feminists got it changed for much larger rewards in other fields, at the expense of a few women who get trapped into these charges and others like paying alimony. Then the fact that the law is merely theoretical, in practice it is nowhere gender-equal.
